Upstream Brewing Company is an upscale restaurant and bar. The two Omaha locations can be found downtown in the Old Market at the intersection of 11th and Jackson and in West Omaha on 171st and West Center Road.

Upstream is known for its variety of award-winning, hand-crafted, freshly brewed beers. It serves "American Comfort" food but is best known for their "Omaha Steaks." They feature one steak special and one fish special nightly. They are also known for their smoked gouda and blonde ale soup. The beer bread is a favorite as well and is served with soups and salads as well as by the loaf in the lobby.

On the entertainment side, Upstream has a second floor which is not only intended for dining and drinking but for games as well. It has several pool tables for its customers which allows the time to pass by quickly when waiting for a table. Also, a magician visits once a month and performs his trick of throwing a deck of cards straight up into the air and watching one card specified by a customer stick to the ceiling. The card that sticks is the one card the customer signed. These cards remain on the ceiling for customers to enjoy and stare at in awe.

Wednesday is Pizza & Pint Night which is $6.00 pizzas, and $2.00 pints of beer. Thursday is Martini Night which $2.00 off all specialty house martinis.
